ORDER
The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to survey the land comprised in Survey Nos.108/B1, 110/1A1A and 110/1A1B, measuring to an extent of 0.42 acre situated at 1/4
Mungilthuraipattu Village, Sankarapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District and to fix the boundaries for fencing the property and to grant Sub Division Patta within the time to be stipulated by this Court based on the representation dated 16.09.2022.
2. The petitioner in order to survey the land at S.Nos. 108/B1, 110/1A1A and 110/1A1B, measuring to an extent of 0.42 acre situated at Mungilthuraipattu Village, Sankarapuram Taluk, Kallakurichi District, had given application on 16.09.2022 and also has paid the necessary fee through on-line. Despite the said application, since the respondent has not acted upon on the said application of the petitioner, she has moved the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.
3. Heard Mr.R.Bharath Kumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mrs.Akila Rajendran, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent.
4. Learned Government Advocate would submit that the said application submitted by the petitioner as well as the fee paid by her would be taken into account and the needful would be undertaken by the 2/4
respondent on merits and in accordance with law within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.
5. Considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for in this writ petition and having regard to the said submission made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondent, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order: That there shall be a direction to the respondent to act upon on the application submitted by the petitioner and complete the same after giving notice to the petitioner as well as other neighbors within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
