This Writ Petition has been filed for the issuance of Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 30.09.2019.

Heard Mr.K.Kulandaivelu, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

The petitioner filed an appeal on 30.09.2019, as against the order passed by the second respondent for refund of stamp duty. Pending the appeal, the appellant died and the petitioner also submitted the legal heirship certificate before the first respondent. However, it is pending without passing any final order.

Considering the same, the first respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and the counter parties if any, after giving an opportunity of hearing to them, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.
