Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to issue Direction directing the 6th respondent to take over the investigation in Crime No.1425 of 2015 on the file of the 5th respondent herein and investigate the case within the time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

This petition has been filed to direct the sixth respondent to take over the investigation in Crime No.1425 of 2015 on the file of the fifth respondent.

2. It is seen that the petitioner has filed this petition to direct the sixth respondent to take over the investigation in Cr.No.1425 of 2015. Now, almost three years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted. However, the fifth respondent is directed to complete the investigation in Cr.No.1425 of 2015 and file final report before the jurisdictional Magistrate concerned within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order, if not already filed.

With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed of.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
