By order dated 18.03.2021, it was directed that the acts done in derogation of the Court order be undone and the relevant immovable property be restored to its erstwhile state. By affidavits dated 16.03.2021 and 20.04.2021, the second and first respondents, respectively, tendered their unconditional apology and stated that an entry was made in the records at the sub-registrar's office to the effect that the registration of the sale deed is non est in law. The third respondent also appeared in person and expressed contrition for his conduct, including by affidavit dated 10.08.2021. While disposing of the connected writ appeals, we recognised the contempt petitioner's
ownership of the relevant immovable property and restrained the third respondent from alienating, encumbering or otherwise dealing with or disposing of the property. By taking into account the relationship between the contempt petitioner and the third respondent and the directions issued while disposing of the writ appeals, we conclude that no further orders are required in the contempt petition. Therefore, the contempt petition and all miscellaneous petitions are closed.
