O R D E R

Petitioner has come up with the present Writ Petition seeking a direction to the Respondent to include her in the selection list and issue appointment order for Graduate Assistant for Government Middle/Higher Secondary School for the year 2009-10.

2. According to the Petitioner, she has completed B.Ed. in Tamil and she had registered the same in the Employment Exchange at Namakkal vide Emp. Reg. No.1999F00315, dated 17.09.2019. The Respondent/Teachers Recruitment Board recruited Graduate Assistants for Government Middle/Higher Secondary School for the year 2009-10 through Employment Registration seniority.

3. It is the case of the Petitioner that, she appeared before the verification Officer at Government Higher Secondary School, Moganoor Road, Namakkal on 12.05.2010 and submitted all the documents requested by them. During December 2011, all the selected candidates were issued appointment orders and were asked to join the respective Schools. Since the Petitioner was not issued any appointment order, she verified with the Teachers Recruitment Board and came to know that, she was not selected for the reason that, her B.Ed. Degree Certificate or Provisional Certificate was not produced.

4. In the counter Affidavit, the Respondent/Teachers Recruitment Board has stated that, in the Certificate verification Call Letter, it is clearly mentioned that, Certificates produced at the time of Certificate verification alone would be considered for selection and that, the Petitioner herself has admitted in the Affidavit that, she has not produced B.Ed. Certificate at the time of Certificate verification and hence, her claim to consider her for selection is not feasible for compliance.

5. When the matter is taken up for hearing, it is represented by Mr.C.Munusamy, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for the Respondent/Teachers Recruitment Board that, though the Petitioner appeared for Certificate verification on 12.05.2010, she did not produce her B.Ed. Certificate, which is mandatory for considering her for appointment. Hence, her candidature was rejected.

6. In view of the above, as the question of appointment of the Petitioner as Graduate Assistant for the year 2009-10 is not feasible at this distant point of time, nothing survives for consideration in this Writ Petition.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs. Sd/- Assistant Registrar //True Copy// Sub Assistant Registrar To:
