This Criminal Original Petition is filed to direct the respondentPolice to file a final report pending investigation in Crime No.983 of 2024 on the file of the Inspector of Police, T.12 Poonamallee Police Station, Poonamallee, Chennai.

2. Learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for respondent-Police submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner herein, the respondent-Police have registered a case in Crime No.983 of 2024 on 06.12.2024 against one Geetha for the offences under Sections 465, 468, 467, 471 and 420 IPC. He further submitted that investigation is under progress and he prays time to file final report.

3. Considering the nature of the offences involved in the complaint and also considering the date of filing of the complaint, this Court cannot pressurising the respondent-Police to investigate the matter. However, the respondent-Police is directed to expedite the investigation and file a final report as early as possible.

4. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
