ORDER

The petitioner, who was arrested and remanded to judicial custody on 22.10.2025, for the alleged offences punishable under Section 103 of BNS in Crime No.526 of 2025 on the file of the respondent police seeks bail. 1/4

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that he is ranked as A2 in this case. It is alleged that A1 had borrowed money from the deceased and due to the said money dispute, A1 called the deceased out of his house and took him to a godown, where the petitioner joined hands with other accused attacked the deceased with a knife and aruval causing severe injuries. Subsequently the deceased was taken to the hospital where he succumbed to the injuries. Hence, a case was registered and the petitioner was arrested. 3.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is an innocent person and has been falsely implicated in this case. He further submitted that the petitioner is in judicial custody since 22.10.2025 and that he has no previous case pending against him. Hence, he prays to grant bail to the petitioner.

4.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that there are totally seven accused in this case and the petitioner is arrayed as A2 in this case. He further submitted that all the accused in this case have been arrested and that the investigation is still pending. Hence, he opposed to grant bail to the petitioner.

5. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record including the First Information Report.

6. Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on both sides, 2/4

the nature of the allegations and the fact that the petitioner is alleged to have attacked the deceased with a knife and committed murder, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner.
