O R D E R

This petition has been filed to call for the entire records relating to the pending proceedings of 107 Cr.P.C dated 02.07.2015 vide Na.Ka.No.428/DC-Amb/Sec.Pro/2015 before the first respondent in Crime No.916 of 2015 of the second respondent and quash the same.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner is having several criminal cases in his credit. Most of the cases are murder cases. Hence the second respondent initiated proceedings under 107 Cr.P.C calling upon the petitioner to execute a bond on 16.05.2015. Immediately, on receipt of notice, the petitioner had filed the above petition. He submitted that the bond under Section 107 Cr.P.C. proceedings ought to be executed not exceeding a year, unless specific reason is stated and therefore, the prayer sought for in the petition no more exists. Hence, he opposed the quash petition.

3. Recording the same, the Criminal Original Petition is dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
