Mr.K.M.D.Muhilan, Addl.Public Prosecutor Order Alleging that the order of this Court dated 06.02.2025 in Crl.OP.No. 23621 of 2024 has not been complied with, the present Contempt Petition has

been filed.

2.The grievance of the petitioner is that this Court, while disposing of Crl.OP No.23621 of 2024 on 06.02.2025, had directed the respondent to complete the investigation in Crime No.174 of 2024 and file a final report within a period of twelve weeks and that the said order has not been complied with.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor would submit that pursuant to the aforesaid direction of this Court, the respondent completed the investigation and filed a final report before the concerned Court on 28.05.2025 as undetected. He would further submit that it is a case relating to online fraud and since the petitioner had to collect a few documents, they were unable to file the final report within the time frame fixed by this Court. He would further submit that the delay is neither willful nor wanton and the respondent may be pardoned for the delay.

4.Though there has been some delay in complying the order of this Court, now, the fact remains that the order has been complied with and there is no contempt.
