Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of mandamus directing the respondents to settle all the terminal benefits due and payable to the petitioners with interest at 12% per annum with effect from 31.01.2014, 30.06.2014, 31.5.2014 and 30.4.2015 respectively within the time stipulated by this Honble Court. For Petitioner in all W.Ps :Mr.A.Selvaraju For Respondents in all W.Ps :Mr.R.K.Gandhi,* COMMON ORDER Heard the learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.R.K.Gandhi, learned Counsel, who took notice for the respondents and with their consent, the main writ petitions are taken up for hearing.

2. These writ petitions have been filed seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to settle all the terminal benefits due and payable to the petitioners with interest at 12% per annum with effect from 31.01.2014, 30.06.2014, 31.5.2014 and 30.4.2015 respectively.

3. The petitioners initially were appointed as Record Clerk in the first respondent Corporation and retired from service on 31.01.2014, 30.06.2014, 31.5.2014 and 30.4.2015 respectively, on reaching the age of superannuation. Their grievance is that they have not yet been paid the terminal benefits.

4. Though the prayer sought for by the petitioners in these Writ Petitions is for a larger extent, the learned counsel for the petitioners confined his relief to the limited extent of directing the respondents to consider the representation of the petitioners.

5. Hence, the respondents are directed to consider the representation submitted by the petitioners individually on 14.3.2016, on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The writ petitions are disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
