ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed by the petitioner to direct the 2nd respondent to execute the arrest warrant issued by the Judicial Magistrate-FTC, Alandur in C.C.No.15 of 2023 dated 26.06.2023 against 3rd respondent.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the warrant issued against the 3rd respondent is pending for more than one and a half years. Hence, the present petition is filed seeking appropriate directions to the respondents police.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents police submitted that the 3rd respondent/accused has already sold his property and his current address is not known. 2/5

In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to furnish the cell phone numbers of the 3rd respondent as well as his relatives to the 2nd respondent police so as to enable them to trace out the call records and to locate the whereabouts/movements of the 3rd respondent/accused through cell phone towers. On receipt of the cell phone numbers, the 2nd respondent police is directed to execute the warrant as early as possible.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of .
