Respondents Prayer :- Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.10.2020 and to measure the land and building, bearing Door No.3/486, situated in S.No.164/20, (Old S.No.77/1 part), in East Coast Road, Palavakkam, Chennai 600 041, in correlation with the documents of title, and also to award compensation, for the acquired lands.

ORDER

This writ petition is filed for direction directing the first respondent to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.10.2020 and to measure the land and building, bearing Door No.3/486, situated in S.No.164/20, (Old S.No.77/1 part), in East Coast Road, Palavakkam, Chennai 600 041, in correlation with the documents of title, and also to award compensation, for the acquired lands.

2. Heard, Mr.P.Raja, the learned counsel for the petitioner, and Mr.V.Jeevagiridharan, Additional Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1 to 3.

3. The petitioner submitted representation to measure the above land and building, which is pending. Therefore, the first respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 22.10.2020 and conduct enquiry after issuance of notice to the adjacent land owners and counter parties, if any, and giving them opportunity of hearing, and pass orders to measure the land and building, bearing Door No.3/486, situated in S.No.164/20, (Old S.No.77/1 part), in East Coast Road, Palavakkam, Chennai 600 041 in correlation with the documents of title and also to award compensation for the acquired lands, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, on payment of requisite fees.

4. With the above direction, this writ petition is disposed of. No order as to costs.
