ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the 2nd respondent to take appropriate action to notionally fix the pay of the petitioner in the post of Special Grade Executive Officer with effect from 01.03.2010 and in the post of Assistant Director of Town Panchayats with effect from 01.03.2011 pursuant to the revision of confirmed state wide seniority list published by the 2nd Respondent in proceedings in Na.Ka.No.6793/2009/A7 dated 12.07.2023 for the purpose of Pensionary benefits on the strength of the letter of the 1st Respondent in Letter No.31479/Ng& 1/2013-2 dated 04.04.2014 and letter No. No.2448/Ng& 1/2023-1 dated 11.05.2023, by considering the latest representation of the petitioner dated 04.11.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the writ petition, the respondents are directed to consider the mercy petition submitted by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
