Prayer in WP 21327/2001 : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, prayiing for the issuance of Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records relating to order dated 17.07.2001 in Ref.No.HO/PRNL/CoMP/52/98 passed by the respondent refusing to provide the peittioner employment on compassionate grounds, quash the same, and consequently, direct the respondent to provide the petitioner compassionate appointment for the death of her husband and award costs. J U D G M E N T

(Judgment of the Court was delivered by K.K. SASIDHARAN,J.) The learned Single Judge directed the appellant to provide compassionate appointment to the respondent. Feeling aggrieved by the said order, the Bank has come up with this intra-court appeal.

When the appeal is taken up for consideration, learned Standing Counsel for the appellant, by producing a copy of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

communication dated 18.03.2019, addressed to the respondent, submitted that the Bank has taken a decision to provide compassionate appointment to her. She was directed to produce certain certificates so as to post her as an employee of the Bank.

In view of the decision taken by the Bank to provide compassionate appointment to the respondent, nothing remains to be adjudicated in this appeal.

The intra-court appeal is disposed of taking into account the above referred subsequent events. No costs. Connected C.M.P. is closed.
