The petitioner has filed the present Writ Petition in the nature of Writ of Mandamus seeking release of Mahindra Bolero Maxi Truck PLUS bearing registration No. TN-28-BD-5783, Engine No.TBJ4J75428, which had been seized by the 2nd respondent on 23.11.2022. 2.It has been so seized by the 2nd respondent, since, it was found that there was illegal transportation of ration rice in the said vehicle. Let the petitioner appear before the District Revenue Officer, Namakkal namely, the 1st respondent on 01.02.2023 between 11a.m. and 2 p.m. and let the District Revenue Officer examine the records and take a considered decision regarding release of the vehicle and the conditions to be imposed. 3.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
