The petitioner, who apprehend arrest for the alleged offence under Sections 296(b), 115(2) and 351(2) of BNS r/w Section 4 of Tamil Nadu Prohibition of Harassment of Women Act, 2002 in Crime No.171 of 2025, on the file of the respondent police seek anticipatory bail. 1/3

2. Today there is no representation for the petitioner.

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and on instructions submitted that the petitioner had already obtained anticipatory bail by the learned Principal District Judge, Thiruvannamalai and hence, this petition may be liable to be dismissed.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
