Earlier, this petitioner had filed a petition in Crl.O.P.No.23507 of 2023 before this Court seeking anticipatory bail in C.C.No.27 of 2021 on the file of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate / Special Court for Idol Theft Cases, Kumbakonam and the same was dismissed on 12.10.2023. 2.Subsequently, the petitioner had filed a petition in Crl.O.P (MD).No.3344 of 2024 before the Madurai Bench of this Court seeking anticipatory bail for the offence punishable under Sections 457(2) and 380(2) of IPC in C.C.No.27 of 2021 on the file of the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kumbakonam. By an order dated 04.03.

2024, a learned Single Judge of Maduari Bench of this Court had disposed of the said petition and directed the petitioner to surrender before the learned Additional Chief Judical Magistrate, Kumbakonam and to file a petition under Section 70(2) of Cr.P.C., to recall the Non-bailable Warrant issued against him on 14.07.2023 and further direction was also given to the learned Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Kumbakonam, to consider the said petition on merits and to pass orders on the same day of filing the petition.

smv 3.It is stated that without complying the above directions, the petitioner has again come up with the present petition seeking anticipatory bail.

4.In view of the above facts and circumstances, the present Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
