ORDER
[Made by P.N.PRAKASH, J.] This habeas corpus petition has been filed seeking a direction to the 1st and 2nd respondents police to produce the petitioner's husband Senthil Kumar, aged about 30 years, before this Court and set him at liberty.

It is the case of the petitioner that she got married to Senthil Kumar around seven years ago and they were childless; while that being so, her husband went missing from 24.09.2020 and thereafter, his whereabouts are not known. 3.
On instructions, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on a complaint given by the petitioner, a case in Annur Police Station Crime No.1518 of 2020 for 'man missing' was registered on 25.09.2020 and investigation is in progress.
In such view of the matter, this habeas corpus petition stands closed with a direction to the Deputy Superintendent of Police, Mettupalayam Sub-Division, to supervise the investigation in Annur Police Station Crime No.1518 of 2021 and keep the petitioner informed of the developments, if any. As and when detenu Senthil Kumar, is secured, he shall be produced before the Judicial Magistrate Court No.I, Mettupalayam, under intimation to the petitioner. On such production, the learned Magistrate shall pass appropriate orders with regard to custody in accordance with law.
