This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to withdraw and transfer the above said cases to the Central Crime Branch, Chennai in Crime No.898 of 2015.
2. It is seen that the investigation in Crime No.898 of 2015 is pending on the file of the respondent police. Now, almost four years have been lapsed and hence, due to the lapse of period, the prayer sought for by the petitioner cannot be granted now.
3. However, considering that the crime is of the year 2015, the respondent police is directed to complete the investigation in Crime No.898 of 2015 and file a final report within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, if not already filed.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
