O R D E R

The prayer sought for herein is for a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to measure and demarcate the property situated at Alathur Village, Bhavani Taluk in Survey No.90/8 in Patta 710 and issue individual patta to the legal heirs of Rangasamy.

2. The petitioner, in order to measure his property at Survey No.90/8, Patta No.710 at Alathur Village, Bhavani Taluk, Erode District and demarcate the same, has made an application through online on 12.11.2022 to the respondents especially the 1st respondent Tahsildar and a receipt to that effect issued in Tamil Nilam Citizen Portal also has been produced before this Court, where he has paid the necessary fee to the extent of Rs.400/- for subdivision and Rs.60/- for application. In order to consider the same, the present writ petition has been filed.

3. Heard Mr.D.Bharathy learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish Additional Government Pleader for the respondents.

4. Learned Additional Government Pleader would submit that the said application submitted by the petitioner along with the necessary fee would be 2 / 4

considered and the needful would be undertaken by the respondents within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

5. Considering the said submission of the learned Government Pleader, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order. "That there shall be a direction to the respondents to consider the application submitted by the petitioner on 12.11.2022 along with the necessary fee and do the needful by completing the survey of the petitioner's land within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order."
