Prayer: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to transfer the patta pertaining to the lands bearing S.No.1 to an extent of 2 Acres 81 cents and S.No.42/1A to an extent of 0.56 cents situated at Cherappanancherry Village, Kundrathur Taluk, Kancheepuram District in petitioner's name, based on his representation made to the respondent herein on 15.10.2020.

ORDER

This petition is filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent to transfer the patta pertaining to the lands bearing S.No.1 to an extent of 2 Acres 81 cents and S.No.42/1A to an extent of 0.56 cents situated at Cherappanancherry Village, Kundrathur Taluk, Kancheepuram District in his name, based on his representation dated 15.10.2020 made to the respondent.

2.The petitioner requires a direction to the sole respondent for transfer of patta in his name.

3.Heard both sides.

4.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the sole respondent and made a statement on instructions, that an enquiry is fixed at 4.30 p.m., on 10.02.2021 at his office.

5. The said statement of the learned Special Government Pleader is recorded.

6.Since the enquiry is already fixed, no further direction is required to be made except that the respondent is directed to issue notice to all the parties who are likely to be affected by his decision and after providing the parties a fair and effective hearing, to dispose of the matter through a speaking order within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
