O R D E R

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order of suspension passed by the second respondent dated 02.03.2019.

2. The case of the petitioner is that he was working as Village Administrative Officer at Karipatty Village, Vazhapadi Taluk, Salem District. A criminal case came to be registered against him in Crime No.02 /AC/ 2019 by Vigilance and Anti Corruption Police under the Prevention of Corruption Act and the petitioner was placed under suspension by the proceedings of the second respondent dated 02.03.2019.

3. The petitioner had made representation to the first respondent seeking for revocation of order of suspension on the ground that he has been kept under prolonged suspension. Since 1/3

the same was not disposed of, the present Writ Petition has been filed challenging the order of suspension.

4. Heard Mr.M.Ravi, learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner and Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate, appearing on behalf of the respondents.

5. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case, there shall be a direction to the first respondent to consider the representation made by the petitioner on 13.09.2019 and pass appropriate orders, strictly in accordance in law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

6. The petitioner is directed to make fresh representation to the first respondent along with a copy of the representation dated 13.09.2019 and a copy of this order.

7. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. .
