Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of Writ of Mandamus, direct the 1 to 5 Respondents herein not to evict the petitioner from the land in extent about 5 Acres in Survey No. 709/2, Village No. 18, Madampakkam village and post, situated at Tambaram Taluk, Chengalpattu District without following any due process of law on the basis of the petitioners representation dated 22.12.2022. ORDER

This writ petition has been filed seeking a direction to the Respondents 1 to 5 herein not to evict the petitioner from the land in extent about 5 Acres in Survey No. 709/2, Village No. 18, Madampakkam village and post, situated at Tambaram Taluk, Chengalpattu District without following any due process of law on the basis of the petitioners representation dated 22.12.2022.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the land in question was allotted to the grandfather of the petitioner since he was an ex-serviceman. After his death, the petitioner and his family are in continuous possession of the said property. Now, the respondents are trying to evict the petitioner from the said subject 2/4

property without following any due process of law. Therefore, the petitioner made a representation on 22.12.2022 to the respondents for not to disturb the petitioner. However, the petitioner has filed the present writ petition seeking appropriate directions.

3. Mr. P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader takes notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5 and submitted that the respondents will not evict the petitioner without following any due process of law.

4. In such view of the matter, no further order is necessary and therefore, the writ petition is closed. No costs.
