The present criminal original petition has been filed to call for the records in Crime No.527 of 2016 on the file of the second respondent and transfer the case to some other Inspector of Police in Erode District for further investigation.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that the case in Cr.No.527 of 2016 pending on the file of the second respondent has already been transferred to some other station.

3. In view of the said submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court is of the view that nothing survives for adjudication in this matter. Hence recording the same, the criminal original petition is closed.
