Seeking a direction to the 1st Respondent to register the case based on the complainant dated 22.9.2014, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondents and perused the material placed on record.

It is represented that according to the petitioer, he has sent a complaint dated 22.9.2014 by post to the Superintendent of Police, Kancheepuram, Kancheepuram District. The Petitioner is directed to go in person and give a copy of the complaint dated 22.9.2014 to the jurisdictional police and on such complaint being given, the same shall be enquired into in accordance with law, following the decision laid down by the Hon'ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Government of Uttarpradesh & others reported in (2014) 2 SCC 1.
