ORDER

This petition has been filed by the defacto complainant to direct the third respondent to take further action on the petitioner's complaint dated 21.11.2019.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that based on the phone calls received from a person that on payment of Rs.6,87,500/-, the petitioner will get back Rs.3,94,32,525/-, 1/4

the petitioner has deposited a sum of Rs.6,87,500/- but subsequently, the said person has demanded more than the said sum and hence, the petitioner has lodged a complaint before the third respondent on 21.11.2019 but sofar no action has been taken on the said complaint.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that after receipt of the petitioner's complaint, preliminary enquiry has been commenced and materials have to be collected from the ICICi Bank and also Reserve Bank of India and hence, he requested to grant some more time for completing the enquiry.

4. Considering the aforesaid submissions, the third respondent is directed to expedite the preliminary enquiry and if the enquiry reveals any cognizable offence, he has to register the case and proceed in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
