The records relating to Crl.M.P.No.1099 of 2024 in Crime No.222 of 2023 registered by the Inspector of Police, C-2, Elephant Gate Police Station, Chennai, had been forwarded by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai. It is stated that the petitioner had moved an application seeking bail simultaneously before this Court and before the Sessions Court and the application seeking bail had been dismissed by the learned Principal Sessions Judge, Chennai by order dated 03.01.2024.

2.In view of that fact, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed. The learned counsel for the petitioner, however, sought permission to withdraw this petition. Permission is granted. This Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to file a fresh petition before the appropriate Court.
