By Guardian and Father Baliah) PRAYER: Appeal filed under Section 96 of C.P.C against the decree of the Subordinate Judge, Poonamallee in LAOP No.517 of 1987. DECREE: This Appeal coming on for hearing on this day and judgment and decree of the lower court and upon hearing the argument of Mr.J.Balagopal Special Govt Pleader for appellants and of Mr.J.Antony Jesus Advocate for the respondents and this court while allowing the appeal in part and in modification of the award of the Tribunal doth order and decree as follows:

1. That the Judgment and decree dated 31.08.2000 made in LAOP.No.517 of 1987 on the file of the Subordinate Judge Poonamallee be and hereby is reduced the compensation of amount from Rs.4,875/-(Four Thousand and eight hundred and seventy five

only) to Rs.2500/- (two thousand five hundred only) percent .

2. That the 1st Appellant herein / referring officer be and hereby is directed to deposit the compensation amount to the respondents herein / Land owners with in a period of 12 weeks from the dated of receipt of a copy of this judgment together with all other statutory benefits.

3. That there be no costs in this Appeal.
