Mr.C.Jeyaprakash, learned Government Advocate takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3. With consent, the main Writ Petition is taken up for 2/7

disposal at the stage of admission itself.

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking direction to the Respondent to consider the petitioners representation dated 13.11.2023 and issue patta for the property admeasuring 1500 sq.ft. in Old Survey No.75 and New TS. No.61 now situated No.1A, Venkat Nagar, School Road, Kolathur, Chennai-600 099.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the property measuring 1500 Sq.ft. comprised in Old S.No.75, New S.No.61, now situated at Door No.1A, Venkat Nagar, School Road, Kolathur, Chennai-600099 absolutely belongs to the petitioner by virtue of two registered sale deeds dated 07/02/2000 bearing Doc.No.580/2000 and 8/01/2007 bearing Doc.No.168/2007 and the petitioner is also paying property tax, water tax for past several years. While so, the petitioner had taken the FMB for Sy.No.61, through online and dowloaded and taken the copy on 07.11.2023, wherein it was found that the Sy.No.61 was approved as road. Surprisingly when they seached in online for map on 11.11.2023, 3/7

the endorsement declaring the disputed Sy.No.61 as road was removed from the plan for the reasons best known to the revenue authorities. Hence, the petitioner submitted a representation on 13.11.2023 to the respondents 1 to 3 to issue patta. As the same did not evoke any response, the petitioner has come forward with this writ petition seeking for the aforesaid relief.

4. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 would submit that the respondent will pass orders on the representation of the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, within a stipulated period.

5. Heard both sides.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made, without going into the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondent concerned to pass orders on the representation of the petitioner dated 13.11.2023, on merits and in accordance with law, after issuing notice to the petitioner and also affording 4/7

due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as to any of the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.

7. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
