PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, to call for the records pertaining to the order of detention passed in No.330/BCDFGISSSV/2017 dated 07.06.2017 passed by the 2nd respondent and set aside the same and directing the respondents to produce the petitioner's son by name Prabha @ prabhakaran S/o Ravi, agaed about 25 years before this Court, now confined in Central Prison, Puzhal, Chennai, set him at liberty. O R D E R

(Order of the Court was made by RAJIV SHAKDER, J) The petitioner is the mother of the detenu, namely, Prabha @ Prabhakaran, S/o. Ravi, male, aged about 25 years. The detenu stands detained by the second respondent by virtue of his order bearing No.330/BCDFGISSSV/2017, dated 07.06.2017, wherein, he https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

has been held to be a "Goonda", within the meaning of Section 2(f) of Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982.

1.1. The said order is under challenge in this Habeas Corpus Petition.

2. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that the said order of detention, passed by the second respondent against the husband of the petitioner has been revoked by the Government in G.O.Rt.No.4018, Home, Prohibition & Excise (X) Department dated 23.08.2017; a copy of the order has also been produced.

3. The submission of the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, is taken on record. Accordingly, the petition is closed, as the same has been rendered infructuous.
