Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to initiate conciliation proceeding based on the petition dated 29.11.2018 filed by the petitioner under Section 2(k) of I.D. Act, on 30.11.2018, by calling the third respondent for conciliation and try to arrive at an amicable settlement.

For Respondents-1&2 : Mr.Akhil Akbar Ali, Government Advocate.

For Respondent-3 : Mr.G.Anand for M/s.T.S.Gopalan & Co.

O R D E R

The learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the writ petitioner as well as the learned counsel, appearing on behalf of the respondents, have jointly made a submission that after filing of the present writ petition, the issues between the parties had been settled out of Court and the said Joint Memo filed by the parties to the lis on hand is extracted hereunder:- "JOINT MEMO The Petitioner Union and the third respondents had entered into a Settlement under Section 18(1) of the Industrial Disputes Act, on 07.01.2019. A copy of the said Settlement is attached to this Memo. In terms of the Settlement, the parties have arrived at an amicable settlement with regard to all pending disputes including non-employment of workmen.

It is therefore prayed that this Hon'ble Court may be pleased to dispose of the Writ Petition in terms of the settlement and the Settlement may be made a part of this Hon'ble High Court Order. Both parties pray that the Writ Petition may be disposed of in terms of the settlement."

2. In view of the abovesaid Joint Memo, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs.
