The petitioner-wife has filed this transfer petition seeking to transfer H.M.O.P.No.99 of 2024 filed by the husband for restitution of conjugal rights before the Principal Subordinate Court, Mayiladuthurai to the Subordinate Court, Chengalpet.
2. The petitioner would submit that she is residing at Maraimalai Nagar which comes within the jurisdiction of the Subordinate Court, Chengalpet. That apart, the respondent-husband is also gainfully employed at Maraimalai Nagar and the petition has been filed at Mayiladuthurai only to harass the petitioner. Therefore, she would seek to have the petition transferred.
3. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner. The respondent though served has not chosen to enter appearance either in person or through counsel.

Considering the fact that the respondent-husband is employed at Maraimalai Nagar and the petitioner is also residing therein, it would be in the interest of both parties, to have the H.M.O.P.No.99 of 2024 pending on the file of the Principal Subordinate Court, Mayiladuthurai transferred to the file of the Subordinate Court, Chengalpet.
5. Accordingly, this Tr.C.M.P is allowed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 22.04.2025 srn To
