ORDER

(DELIVERED BY DR. S.VIMALA, J.) The petition is filed by the mother of the detenue seeking direction to the respondents 1 and 2 to produce her minor daughter before this Court and set her at liberty.

2. When the matter is taken up today, the detenue is produced before the Court. On enquiry, the detenue claims that she has married the 3rd respondent on her own volition and there was no question of abduction by anyone. She has further stated that she was doing B.E. At Annamalai University, but had discontinued her 2nd year study.

3. The 3rd respondent, who has been impleaded by this Court, has also been heard. The 3rd respondent has filed an undertaking affidavit to the effect that he will ensure the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

continuance of the studies of the detenue and he will offer financial protection for the detenue to continue her studies .

4. This Court, considering the fact that the detenue is a major, while recording the statement made by the detenue and the 3rd respondent, and that she is not under the illegal custody of anyone, deems it fit to close the habeas corpus petition.
