ORDER

The prayer sought for herein is for a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of petitioner's revision petition dated 17.03.2022 for UDR patta corrections.

2. As against the order passed by the second respondent i.e., Revenue Divisional Officer, Krishnagiri District vide his order dated 08.06.2011 cancelling the patta stood in the name of the petitioner's father, the petitioner preferred a revision petition on 17.03.2022 to the first respondent District Revenue Officer and in order to consider the same and pass necessary orders on the said revision petition, the petitioner has moved the present writ petition with the aforesaid prayer.

3. Heard Mr.M.Ravi, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.P.Sathish, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 and 2.

4. In view of the order going to be passed in this writ petition, notice to the third respondent is hereby dispensed with.

5. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the 2/4

respondents 1 and 2 would submit that the said revision petition filed by the petitioner dated 17.03.2022 against the order passed by the second respondent would be considered and decided on merits after giving notice to both the petitioner as well as the third respondent within a time frame that may be stipulated by this Court.

Considering the said stand taken by the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents and having regard to the aforesaid factual matrix of this case, this Court is inclined to dispose of this writ petition with the following order: That there shall be a direction to the first respondent to enquire and decide the revision petition filed by the petitioner dated 17.03.2022 as against the order passed by the second respondent dated 08.06.2011 and pass necessary orders thereon on merits and in accordance with law, of-course after giving an opportunity of being heard to both the petitioner as well as the third respondent within a period of eight(8) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
