ORDER

(1) The present petition has been filed invoking section 482 of Cr.P.C., seeking a direction against the 2nd respondent/Inspector of Police, Central Crime Branch, J4 Police Station, Kotturpuram, Chennai, to register a complaint dated 18.03.2013, lodged by the petitioner before the 1st respondent / Commissioner of Police, Egmore, Chennai.

(2) The matter is no longer res integra as it had been held by a Division Bench of this Court and also as provided in the Code of Criminal Procedure that the proper procedure would be to file a necessary complaint under Section 156[3] of Cr.P.C., in accordance with the stipulations thereunder. (3) I am also informed by the learned Government Advocate [Crl.Side] that the matter has been forwarded to the Central Crime Branch, Land Grabbing Wing, for further action.

(4) Hence, nothing survives in the present petition. Accordingly, the Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
