Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the second respondent herein to consider and pass orders on the petitioner representation dated 12.07.2018 and consequently, to remove/shift the electric service connection (LT service) wires passing through the petitioner land, situated at Survey No.467/1B, Nedungunam Village, Chetpet Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District within a stipulated time as fixed by this Court. O R D E R

This writ petition has been filed by the petitioner, for a Mandamus, directing the second respondent to consider and pass orders on his representation dated 12.07.2018. 2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner already submitted a representation on 12.07.2018, requesting the second respondent to remove/shift the electric service connection (LT service) wires passing through his land situated at Survey No.467/1B, Nedungunam Village, Chetpet Taluk, Tiruvannamalai District and the same is pending without any consideration. Hence, this writ petition.

3.The learned Standing Counsel taking notice for the respondents fairly submitted that the second respondent would consider the representation of the petitioner, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the second respondent to consider the representation dated 12.07.2018 submitted by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner as well as any other interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
