Assistant (Mathematics) for the year 2018-2019 and select the petitioner for the said post under PSTM quota.

O R D E R

This writ petition is filed for issuance of a mandamus directing the second respondent to consider the petitioner's application and treat the same under PSTM quota for the post of PG Assistant Mathematics for the year 2018 - 2019.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. It would be seen from the records that firstly as on date of the notification / subsequent consideration, the petitioner did not approach the respondents with such records that she is entitled to be considered under PSTM quota. Secondly, the qualification petitioner was having as on the relevant date was M.Sc., Mathematics in which the medium of instruction was English and qualification in Tamil Medium was only subsequent. Thirdly, the petitioner also failed to upload the qualification. Finally, the selection has also been now over and the petitioner has not challenged the selection so as to get

relief in the matter.

4. For all the above reasons the claim of the petitioner in this writ petition cannot be countenanced. Accordingly, this writ petition stands dismissed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition are also closed.
