This petition has been filed to quash the proceedings in Crime No.260 of 2016 on the file of the 1st respondent. 2.

The learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the respondent submitted that C.C.No.195 of 2017 itself disposed of and ended in acquittal on 03.05.2018 on the file of the XXIII Metropolitan Magistrate, Saidapet, Chennai. Therefore, the prayer sought for in this Criminal Original Petition has become infructuous.
