Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India praying to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the first respondent to issue appropriate orders enabling the regularisation of petitioner services in the post of Office Assistant with effect from the date of his initial appointment, namely, 16.09.1982 and grant him all consequential benefits including monetary benefits.

ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for direction directing the first respondent to regularise the petitioner's service from the date of his initial appointment i.e., on 29.05.1977.
2. The learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner was initially appointed as Masalchi cum Night Watchman on 29.05.1977. Thereafter, he was temporarily promoted to the post of Office Assistant on 16.09.1982. Subsequently, after completion of 10 years of his service from the date of his initial appointment, his service was regularised on 30.05.1987. On his retirement, he was paid all benefits.
3. Recording the said submission, this Writ Petition stands closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
