Today, the matter is listed today under the caption "for reporting compliance".
2. In this case, since no final report was filed even after lapse of 11 years, this Court while disposing of this case on 23.01.2025, had directed the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) to file a report containing the list of Station House Officers, who were in-charge of the respondent police Station from the date of registration of FIR in Crime No.12 of 2014 dated 04.01.2014 to till date.
3. Today (28.01.2025), when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor furnished list of Officers/Inspectors who were in-charge of the respondent police station at the relevant point of time.
4. The Commissioner of Police, Chennai, is directed to take action against the said Officers/Inspectors (mentioned in the list provided by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor) who were in-charge of the respondent police station at the relevant point of time and file a report before this Court within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. List the matter after two months "for reporting compliance". 28-01-2025 ksa-2 Note: Issue order copy on 29.01.2025.
