(Order of the Court was made by The Hon'ble Chief Justice) We have heard Mr.R.Subramanian, learned counsel for the first respondent, Mr.Karthick Jegannath, learned Government Advocate for the second, seventh and eighth respondents, Mr.N.R.Ramesh Kanna, learned counsel for the third to sixth respondents, Mr.C.Mohan, learned counsel for M/s.King and Partridge learned counsel for the ninth respondent, Mr.Jerry V.V.sundar, learned counsel for the tenth respondent.
2. Though the request letter is moved by the petitioner, none appears for the petitioner.
3. The petitioner seeks removal of encroachment and unlawful constructions at Poonthotam III Street, Nanganallur, Chennai-600 061.
4. Learned Government Advocate for the second, seventh and eighth respondents and learned counsel for the Cantonment Board submitted that a joint survey was conducted by the Tahsildar, Corporation and Cantonment Board and some encroachment is found. Steps are being taken by the respondents.
