O R D E R
(Order of the Court was made by Dr.Anita Sumanth J.) This is a Writ Petition of the year 2000. The matter is being adjourned from time to time to enable the learned counsel for the petitioner to obtain instructions.
2. Today, Mr.Elansezhiyan, learned counsel representing Mr.G.Ethirajulu, learned counsel on record for the petitioner states that since the petitioner had passed away in 2004 and his legal heirs are also presently no more, he is unable to obtain any instructions as to whether the family of the legal heirs have any interest in pursuing this litigation.
3. In light of the aforesaid, we do not see any necessity to keep this petition pending on the docket of this Court any more. We hence, dismiss the same.
4. Let a copy of this order be served on the address set out in the cause title to the Writ Petition to enable the present legal heirs of the deceased
petitioner to revive the matter should they be so inclined, within a period of three months from today. No costs.
