PRAYER: Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the respondent police to provide police protection at the time of putting up fence around the land in Old Survey No.471/A, New Survey No.471A/35, Patta No.254 situated at No.3/81, Periya Street, Puthuthaku Village, 68, Keezhminnal Panchayath, Walaja Taluk, Ranipet District. ORDER

The Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to provide police protection at the time of putting up fence around the land in Old Survey No.471/A, New Survey No.471A/35, Patta No.254 situated at No.3/81, Periya Street, Puthuthaku Village, 68, Keezhminnal Panchayath, Walaja Taluk, Ranipet District.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that based on the direction passed by the learned District Munsif cum Judicial Magistrate, Arcot in Crl.M.P.No.2152 of 2021 dated 12.10.2021, a case has been registered by the respondent police in Crime No.52 of 2022 for the offence under Section 447 of IPC.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that case has been registered. He would further submit that appropriate steps will be taken to give protection to the petitioner.

4. Recording the same, this Criminal Original Petition stands disposed with the direction to the respondent to conduct enquiry and afford protection if necessary.
