2. Heard Mr.K.H.Ravikumar, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent.

3. This writ petition has been filed seeking a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents herein to place the petitioner in the Land Acquisition - Priority Category in respect of Employment Registration No.869/10, and sponsor the petitioner's name for recruitment for the year 2014-2015 in Tiruvannamalai District.

4. In response to the notice issued by this court, the second respondent filed a counter-affidavit contending that the petitioner has not produced the relevant documents evidencing the acquisition of land belonging to him or his forefathers, and therefore, his name has not been sponsored.

5. In view of the same, this writ petition is disposed of, granting liberty to the petitioner to submit a representation before the second respondent along with all the relevant documents within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. In case, if any such representation is submitted by the petitioner, the second respondent shall consider the same and take appropriate action in accordance with law within further period of six weeks.
