Contempt Petition filed under section 11 of the Contempt of Courts Act,1971 to punish the 1st respondent for the disobeying the order of this Court dated 22.03.2018 in W.P.No.6547 of 2018.

O R D E R

This Contempt Petition is filed complaining that the order passed in W.P.No.6547 of 2018 dated 22.03.2018 has not been complied with.

2. The said writ petition was disposed of only with a direction to the 3rd respondent therein, namely Tahsildar, to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 24.01.2018 and pass orders on the same on merits and in accordance with law after hearing the petitioner and other interested parties.

3. When the Contempt Petition was taken up on 06.03.2019, there was no representation for the petitioner. However, learned Special Government Pleader submitted that within a period of two weeks, the order passed by this Court in the writ petition will be complied with. Hence, the matter is posted today for reporting full compliance.

4. Today also, there is no representation for the petitioner. The learned Special Government Pleader submitted that the Tahsildar has passed an order on 16.03.2019 rejecting the request of the petitioner for grant of patta. If the order is passed to that effect by the Tahsildar, it is for the petitioner to challenge the

same in the manner known to law. However, the Contempt Petition is closed, since the order passed in the above writ petition has been complied with as stated supra.
