PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records in G.O.Ms.No.446/Home (Prison IV) Department dated 19.06.2015 issued by the 1st respondent, to quash the same and direct the 2nd respondent to settle all the salary and pension benefits to the petitioner as 1/4

per the judgement of High Court in Criminal Appeal No.483/1996 dated 23.04.2004.

ORDER

When the matter was listed on 13.08.2022, the learned counsel for the petitioner had sought time to file a substitution petition, since the petitioner had died. Thereafter, when the matter was listed on 12.12.2022, there was no representation for the petitioner.

2. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner, apart from the fact that no application for substituting the legal heirs has been filed. Accordingly, the writ petition stands dismissed for default. No costs.
