O R D E R

The petitioner herein apprehends arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 296(b), 115(2), 132 and 351(3) of BNS, 2023 in Crime No.337 of 2025, on the file of the respondent Police, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The allegation against the petitioner is that the petitioner belong to a particular party and he has objected the road laying under the Government Scheme and also picked up quarrel with the Block Development Officer /defacto complainant and abused in filthy language. Hence, the complaint.

3. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner had only questioned the defacto complainant, however false complaint has been given by the defacto complainant. Hence, he prayed for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner.

4. The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police reiterated the prosecution case and submitted that, petitioner has two previous cases.

5. Considering the nature of allegations and the fact that petitioner had attacked the Block Development Officer and also made criminal intimidation, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner.
