PRAYER: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the records of the second respondent pertaining to the notification dated 07.03.2013 with regards to the seniority list for the post of Conductor for the first respondent Corporation and all further proceedings in connection with recruitment for the post of Conductor on the basis of the said seniority list, quash the same and directing the respondents to consider the candidature of the petitioner for the recruitment for the post of Conductor for the first respondent Corporation.

ORDER

When the matter was called on 31.03.2022, there was no representation for the petitioner. Even today, there is no representation for the petitioner.

2. The petitioner is aggrieved against his non-selection in the recruitment process for the post of Conductor held on 07.03.2013. Nine years have passed since the recruitment had taken place and obviously, the post would have been filled up by now. At this juncture, consideration of the petitioner's request for cancelling the recruitment made and consider him for appointment to the post of Conductor, would not be appropriate.

3. Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
