Seeking a direction to the respondent herein viz., the Inspector of Police, Velacherry Police station, Chennai to register the complaint dated 13.03.2015, and file a final report in accordance with law, the petitioner has come up with this petition.

Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent. 3.Considering the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, the respondent is directed to conduct enquiry in CSR No.110/2015 and act in accordance with the law laid down by the Honourable Apex Court in Lalita Kumari vs. Govt. of U.P. & others [2013 (4) Crimes 243 (SC)].

4. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
