PRAYER : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, to direct the 1st respondent to provide adequate police protection while surveying petitioner's property comprised in S.Nos.847/3 measuring to an extent of 57 cents and 849/1 measuring to an extent of 62 cents situated at Nagamangalam Village, Denkanikottai Taluk, Krishnagiri District by considering petitioner's representation dated 03.07.2023 within a stipulated period.

This Writ petition has been filed to direct the respondent police to provide police protection based on the petitioner representation dated 03.07.2023 on the file of the respondent police. 2.

Learned Additional Public Prosecutor, on instructions, submitted that, based on the complaint given by the petitioner, petition 2/5

enquiry is pending in Current Paper No.125 of 2023 dated 29.11.2023 on the file of the 1st respondent Police.

The petitioner is directed to co-operate with the Police for enquiry and the respondent Police shall conduct the enquiry keeping in mind the judgment in Lalitha Kumari vs. Government of Uttar Pradesh reported in 2013 (6) CTC 353. On completion of the enquiry, the respondent Police shall take a decision regarding the further course of action. This process shall be completed by the respondent Police within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. 4.
